Bag Policy
To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, we have implemented the following bag policy: we will allow clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (6”x 9”). No other bags of any type will be allowed.
Cashless Payments
ALL points of sale including premier parking, merchandise, food & beverage will ONLY accept debit, credit or mobile pay (Apply Pay or Google Pay).
Mobile Ticketing
All events are Mobile Entry. That means your mobile device will be used to gain access to the event. Screenshots will NOT be accepted. Tickets will not be emailed or available for print (for previously scheduled shows where you selected print at home or mail, your tickets will be honored accordingly).
You have two options to access your tickets:
1. Add tickets to your mobile wallet by downloading the Live Nation App.
- Click My Tickets and select your upcoming show.
- Add the ticket(s) to your phone's wallet and you're done!
- Present your mobile ticket(s) at entry
2. Add tickets to your mobile wallet by visiting Live Nation on your mobile browser.

Additional Tips:
Purchase tickets for a group? Arriving separately? Transfer tickets directly to friends and family using the Live Nation App. To expedite entry, we recommend doing this prior to arriving at the event.
- Using the Live Nation App or your phone's web browser, sign in to your account.
- Select the desired order and tap Transfer Tickets (event eligibility may vary).
- Select the ticket you'd like to transfer. Add the recipient's information and send. The recipient will receive an email with the ticket.
Due to large crowds and high traffic, be sure to leave early and give yourself plenty of time at the venue. Increase your phone screen brightness to assist with scanning. Lastly, make sure you have a fully charged battery!

Ascend Amphitheater strives to ensure that all of our guests have a great time at our venue. If you need additional assistance while you are here please make sure you let us know.
- Ticketing- ADA tickets can be purchased online via www.livenation.com. You do not need to call the box office to place an order as all of our accessible tickets are available through www.livenation.com. Look for the ADA logo on the Find Tickets page to view all available accessible seats. We do have accessible seating in every price range but be advised it does occasionally sell out. We have very limited seating available for guests on the day of the event so please make sure you purchase accessible seating when you order tickets. ADA Lawn and ADA Boxes are our designated ADA seating options, our seated pavilion section is ADA accessible.
- Day of Show Parking- Accessible Parking is located at nearby downtown parking locations around the venue. An Accessible Drop Off point is located at the corner of Molloy St. and 1st Avenue S.
- Unexpected Needs- if you have had an injury or illness that prevents you from using the original seat you purchased we strongly recommend going through www.livenation.com to exchange all tickets for accessible seats. We will have a very limited number of seats available on the day of the show for such issues, but we cannot guarantee we will be able to seat you. Please remember that all members in your party that you want to sit with you in the accessible seating must have an ADA seated ticket.
- Accommodations- all venue bathrooms, concession stands, and merchandise stands are accessible.
- Interpreter Requests- if you will need an interpreter for an event please give us at least 2 weeks notice to secure. Guests that request an interpreter will need to pick up their tickets at will call. When the tickets are picked up we will introduce you to your interpreter for the evening and take you to your seats. There is no charge for interpreter services.
- Guests that require assisted listening devices can contact our venue office prior to the event to arrange for a device. Please give us at least 2 days notice. Guests that require interpreter service can call the venue and arrange this for any event. We need at least 2 weeks notice to secure an interpreter.

Where should I enter the venue?
Guests with tickets should enter via Gate 1, located at the northwest corner of the venue, next to the box office. There is a secondary entrance on the corner of 1st Ave and Korean Veterans Blvd., in the southwest corner of the venue that guests with tickets may also enter through. The VIP Entrance is located left of the box office.
What time do gates open?
Gate times vary but are usually an hour and a half to two hours prior to showtime. Please check the specific event page as these times are subject to change. Please do not attempt to enter the venue any earlier than the designated times, you will not be allowed in.

How is traffic control around Ascend Amphitheater?
Traffic around Ascend Amphitheater is controlled by city traffic management. Please monitor traffic surrounding the area and plan accordingly when coming to the venue. What is your bag policy?
Our bag policy is as follows: we will allow clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags no larger than 12”x 6”x 12” and/or small clutch bags (6”x 9”). If your bag is 6”x 9” or smaller it does not need to be a clear bag. No other bags of any type will be allowed. All bags are subject to search upon entry. Guests have the right to refuse a bag search and the venue has the right to refuse entry. If you have any items that are not allowed into the venue please return them to your vehicle.
How is the security on site?
Venue security and law enforcement are located throughout the facility to ensure a safe and secure environment. All security personnel can assist with any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to contact our on-site staff if any assistance is needed.

What security procedures should I expect?
When coming through the gates, please plan on security using metal detectors and/or a physical pat-down for our search procedures. All bags are subject to inspection. If you have a medical reason for not wanting to be searched via metal detectors, please inform one of our security gate staff members so they can offer you an alternative search method to our metal detectors. Is there law enforcement on site?
Local law enforcement are on site for every event and are responsible for directing all traffic into the venue. On Duty law enforcement officers are the only individuals able to carry a weapon on our property. We do not allow conceal and carry weapons to be brought onto our property nor we will secure them.
Where can I find a restroom?
Restroom buildings are located on all sides of the venue seating area as well as at the back of the lawn. Accessible restrooms are located in all locations as well. There are family bathrooms located through the venue too.
Do you have a lost and found?
If you lose an item while you are at an event- you can visit our Guest Services tent located just inside the main gate to see if it has been turned in. Click on the link below to view our virtual lost and found! You can communicate with us immediately and set up a time to pick up your item! Don't want to come back to pick up your item? You can also call us at 615-258-5944 to see what has been turned in to our Lost and Found, and see if anything of yours has been turned in and able to be picked up.
Is merchandise available for purchase in the venue?
Merchandise will be available for concerts at our merchandise tent located on the west side of the venue in the plaza near the concession stand, by the secondary entrance near the corner of 1st Ave South and Korean Veterans Blvd. All merchandise is property of the artist and the venue has no responsibility related to the craftsmanship or style of any merchandise. Please make sure you check that you have the correct size and there are no defects in the shirt before you walk away from the stand. The venue cannot assist with replacing or refunding any merchandise after the event has ended.
Are concessions available for purchase at Ascend?
Ascend Amphitheater offers a wide variety of concession options through the venue. This includes cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, nachos, pretzels, candy, popcorn, fountain soda (Pepsi Products), and Liquid Death water.
We also have local food vendors (differs on each show) around the venue for food purchase.
Concessions are located on each side of the seating areas as well as at the back of the lawn.
What are your policies involving alcohol?
Ascend Amphitheater offers a wide variety of alcoholic beverages for purchase during your time at the venue. You are not permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages into the venue. A valid and current Driver License or State ID card is required to purchase alcohol- guests will be required to show ID every time they purchase.
What credit cards do you accept?
All main concession stands take Visa / MasterCard / Discover and American Express. All merchandise stands take all major credit cards.
We are a cash-less venue, if you need to convert any cash to a card you can do so at our Guest Services tent with our conversion kiosk.
Can I re-sell my ticket at Ascend Amphitheater?
Scalping or reselling tickets is strictly prohibited on the property of the venue. Any guest caught selling tickets on property will be turned over to local law enforcement.
What are your will call protocols?
Will call tickets are available for pickup at the box office located outside Gate 1. Please make sure that you have a photo ID matching the purchasers name to pick up tickets. Any name changes need to go through Ticketmaster Customer Service- 800-653-8000.
Guests are not permitted to put tickets in will call for other guests to pick up. You will need to arrange to meet your party at the facility to deliver tickets.
If tickets or passes are being left for you- they will only be left at the box office. This includes meet and greet passes, backstage passes, press passes, and tickets from the tour or any other promotional company. We do not get these tickets until late in the afternoon the day of the event so please do not try to pick them up earlier. If your tickets/passes are not at will call you will need to contact the person that left them for you to determine where they are. The box office cannot contact any member of the tour for you.
How does lawn seating work?
The lawn is always first come, first serve. Guests may notice a row or seat number on their lawn ticket, but that is only used for tracking purposes. There are no assigned seats on the lawn.
If you would like to be right upfront of the lawn or have a big group that wants to sit all together we recommend checking out the Reserved Lawn upgrade option. Reserved Lawn is an additional upgrade you can purchase with your ticket that guarantees you a spot in a sectioned-off area up at the front of the lawn and comes with a lawn chair rental. You can purchase that upgrade here.
Are lawn chairs available to rent at Ascend?
Lawn chairs are available for rent for $12 per chair. Lawn chairs rentals can be purchased here.
Lawn chairs are available for rent for most shows and must be turned in at the end of the event. Our rental chairs are 27.6” wide X 27.6” deep X 30.5” tall. No other chairs are permitted inside the venue. To rent a lawn chair in advance, click on the "UPGRADES AVAILABLE" dropdown on dropdown on our upgrade page and select "Lawn Chair Rental".
We hold a certain amount of pre-reserved lawn chairs that can be purchased for rental before the show, once we are sold out of pre-reserved lawn chairs you may still purchase them once you come to the venue from our Lawn Chair Rental tent.
What happens when weather occurs?
All shows will go on rain or shine. However, in the event of severe weather we will keep our fans notified via our venue socials:

An event may be delayed, postponed, or canceled depending on the severity of the weather expected.
What happens in the event of an emergency?
In the event of an emergency while on site- Ascend Amphitheater has trained paramedics to assist with any medical issues. First aid is located on the west side of the venue near the restrooms and Gate 3, but any staff member with a radio can dispatch First Aid to the location needed. Local law enforcement officers are also on-site for every event and can assist if needed or requested.
Venue management works closely with all appropriate emergency agencies and services to ensure that we are up to date on any dangerous weather or potential crowd-related issues. In the event of a weather emergency- we will communicate with guests that are inside of the facility as well as guests on their way to the venue. How do I get an all-access or backstage pass?
All-access passes or Backstage Passes are not available for purchase. Visit www.livenation.com to view any VIP packages that may involve a meet and greet or additional access. The venue box office does not sell any meet and greet, backstage or venue passes.
What happens when a show cancels?
Cancellations will only occur in the event of severe weather, artist cancellation, or an act of God. In the event of a cancellation ticket holders will receive an email from Ticketmaster about a potential reschedule that will be made available. Refunds will be available at the point of purchase.

Are animals allowed in the venue?
Service animals (as defined by ADA standards) are permitted inside the venue during events. Only registered working animals are permitted.
Where should I go if I need assistance?
If you need assistance while at an event please visit our Guest Services tent located just inside the entry of the main gate. You may also text us at our Textline number: 615-200-6992 for additional help.
What do I do in the event of a medical emergency?
First Aid is located on the west side of the venue near the restrooms and Gate 3. We have trained medical personnel that are able to assist with any issue you encounter. We have ambulances on site throughout the duration of the event that can transport guests if needed. If you have a condition that requires you to use a needle for medication while you are here- please do so in our medical office so the syringe can be properly disposed of.
Where should I park?
General Parking will not be provided at Ascend Amphitheater. However, there are many options in and around downtown to park at for events. VIP Parking is included in the package for box seat ticket holders and season ticket holders. You may also purchase premier parking as an upgrade, that guarantees you a spot in a parking lot close to the venue. You may purchase that upgrade here: https://livemu.sc/3nbTebd
Where is VIP Parking?
VIP Parking is located at the Peabody Garage on levels LL2 and LL3. For GPS, please use 75 Peabody Street, Nashville, TN 37201.
What if I have car troubles at Ascend Amphitheater?
If any assistance is needed with your vehicle please contact your normal Emergency Assistance provider. Ascend Amphitheater does not have tow or lockout services on site.
Is there public transportation I can take to Ascend Amphitheater?
The Nashville MTA offers direct bus service that connects to Ascend Amphitheater. For more information on MTA bus lines, visit www.nashvillemta.org or call (615) 862-5950 for convenient stations near Ascend Amphitheater.
Can I ride my bike to Ascend Amphitheater?
Multiple bike racks are located along 1st Avenue for all shows. Ascend Amphitheater is not responsible for lost or stolen bicycles.
Can I camp at Ascend Amphitheater?
The venue does not allow camping or overnight parking of any kind.
Can I bring my kid with me to a show Ascend Amphitheater?
All of our events are all ages unless stated otherwise. Children 2 and under do not require a ticket, but must sit on a parent's lap.
Are there baby changing stations?
Baby Changing Stations are located within the men, women, and family restrooms around the venue.
What are your policies involving guest conduct?
Guests are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with venue policy, state and local laws. Any guest that is acting in a manner that venue management deems unsafe can be subject to eviction. If a guest violates a state or local law they will be subject to any tickets or punishment deemed necessary by local law enforcement. Ascend Amphitheater reserves the right to deny entry to any guest for any reason or no reason. If a guest is denied entry to any event, such guest will be issued a refund of the face value of the ticket for the event.
What are your policies involving banners and sings?
Signs larger than 8.5 X 11 in are not permitted into the venue. This size is a standard sheet of paper. We do not allow in banners or signs that are larger than this due to the potential to block other guests view of the performance. All signs must be appropriate in nature and not be a distraction to the artist.
What are your policies for masks and face paint?
Masks covering the face are NOT allowed while entering the venue or purchasing items at concessions. Any face coverings must be removable upon request. Face paint is allowed, but it should NOT be gory, inappropriate, or alter your face to the point of unrecognition. Your face must be able to be matched to your ID at concessions if you intend to purchase alcohol. You cannot bring face paint into the venue.
What are your policies involving cameras?
SUBJECT TO CHANGE- The standard venue policy allows camera phones, disposable cameras, and small digital cameras. Any camera that has a detachable lens will be considered professional and not allowed in. If the camera lens zooms out of the camera more than 1 inch it will be considered a professional camera and will not be allowed in. No 35mm professional film cameras are allowed. Some artists do not permit cameras so please check back for the show you will be attending to ensure that we will be allowing cameras in.
What are your cell phone policies?
Generally, cell phones are permitted in the venue. On occasion, comedy shows in particular, cell phone usage may not be allowed due to artist requests.
What are your policies on audio taping?
Some shows do allow audio recording so please contact us prior to the event you are attending to confirm if this will be allowed.
What are your policies involving weapons?
Ascend Amphitheater does not allow weapons of any kind in the venue. No patron will be allowed to enter the venue with a weapon. The venue will not secure weapons and will not take responsibility for any weapons left in vehicles.
Is re-entry allowed?
Re-entry is not permitted at Ascend Amphitheater. Please ensure that everything you will need for the event is brought in with you. If you do leave at any point in the evening- you will not be allowed back in without a new ticket.
Is smoking permitted at Ascend Amphitheater?
Ascend Amphitheater is a NON-SMOKING facility. Guests wishing to smoke will need to exit through designated gate (Gate 5) during event. Violation of smoking policy will result in ejection without refund.

Strollers are not permitted due to there being nowhere for them to be stored. The lawn has an incline that makes it unsafe for strollers to be on the lawn and they tend to also become a tripping hazard to other guests.
Are umbrellas permitted?
Umbrellas are never permitted in the venue.
Can I bring water in?
Guests are permitted to bring in One (1) factory-sealed bottle of water up to one gallon in size per person. Empty Aluminum bottles, refillable plastic water bottles are permitted. Camelbacks and Glass bottles are not permitted. This policy is subject to change based on artist requests or safety considerations.
Water fountains are located near all restroom locations. Water refill stations can be found near restrooms on the east and west side of the venue.
Can I bring in fan mail?
Ascend Amphitheater will do our best to get any fan mail sent to the venue to the appropriate parties. We cannot guarantee that any package or letter will be given to an artist. We recommend visiting the artist’s website and sending any items to their designated address. We are not responsible for returning anything that is sent to the venue for an artist.
Do you offer fast lane passes?
For certain events, fast lane upgrades may be available for an additional charge. The fast lane allows you access to a private entrance enabling you to skip the line at the main gate. The fast lane upgrades are available at https://livemu.sc/3nbTebd
This gate entrance is located at gate two, south of the main gate going up First Ave South and Korean Veterans Blvd, you will see Fast Lane signage where you can begin to line up.

How do I get a media pass?
Any media inquiries can be directed to the direct tour rep/marketing team for approval.
Does Ascend Amphitheater have Premium/VIP seating?
If you are interested in purchasing a VIP Box or Reserved Seating for the season please contact our Venue Sales department at (615) 346-9042. Neither the venue receptionists nor the box office can answer questions regarding pricing or availability for these boxes.
Are upgrades available for purchase?
Upgrades are available to purchase here and on-site through our Guest Services team.
What is the VIP Club?
The VIP Club is a private lounge with an outside patio for our box seat ticket holders and season ticket holders. The club will open at doors. VIP Club guests will have access to restroom facilities, premium liquor and beer selections. For select shows, a limited number of VIP Club passes may be available for on Ticketmaster - (www.ticketmaster.com/venue/222513).

What recycling initiatives do you have in place at Ascend?
Ascend Amphitheatre participates in a venue wide recycling program. You will find recycling bins located though-out the venue. Please recycle where possible.
How do sponsorships work at Ascend?
All sponsorship inquiries should be directed to our office- please call (615) 305-8918 and ask to speak with someone in sponsorship. Any handouts or presence on site needs to be cleared with venue sponsorship. If you do not have permission to be on site you will be escorted off property immediately.
