August 26 is Women’s Equality Day, marking the anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution in 1920 which first granted women the right to vote. Officially recognized by Congress in 1973, Women’s Equality Day is a celebration of progress, power, and possibility.
In 2020, Alicia Keys and Brandi Carlile recorded and performed the Grammy-nominated song “A Beautiful Noise” to help get out the vote. The anthem marked the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage and the 55th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.
“A Beautiful Noise” inspires unity, purpose, and action, becoming more than just a song but an anthem mobilizing women to shape their future by voting on the issues that matter to them.
In 2022, Live Nation Women brought the song’s mission to life with A Beautiful Noise Live, a week of action featuring impactful conversation, events, and live music activations to educate, empower, and inspire.
Live Nation Women, Rock the Vote and Gaia Music Collective partnered to bring One-Day Choirs to life in Live Nation venues nationwide. These gatherings united fans, students, and local communities around the song “A Beautiful Noise,” using the strength of women’s voices to inspire and mobilize voters ahead of election day.
