• St. Andrews Hall and the Shelter have a rich musical history. From the early new wave shows of the '80's such as Depeche Mode, The Cure, and New Order to the alternative giants REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Janes Addiction, Smashing Pumpkins, and Soundgarden, "The Hall" has always been on the cutting edge of cool. Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Green Day have all played there long before they were big. With its perfect sightlines and acoustics to the best sound systems for this size venue anywhere in the country, St. Andrews continues to win awards for best venue in the city of Detroit year after year. Still as relevant as it was 25 years ago, St. A's boasts constant A-List Emo, Punk, Indy, DJ and rap talent and the longest running clubnight in the city, "3 Floors of Fun.” Three floors of DJ's spinning hip hop of all kinds for the 1000 regular partygoers. Recent Hip Hop shows include Jay-Z, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Talib Kweli, and Mos Def. The Shelter, featured in the movie "8 Mile" is home to Motor City legend Eminem. It was here he got his start battling the other outstanding Detroit MC's. Like the now defunct CBGB's of New York and the 930 Club of DC, St. Andrews Hall and The Shelter are among the few legendary spots in America that have hosted the best music in the world.

  From I-75, head south into Detroit. Take I-375 south to the Jefferson East Exit. Take the first right onto Congress. St. Andrews Hall is three blocks down on the right hand side.
  
  From the Lodge Freeway/Highway 10:
  Go south into Detroit. Lodge becomes Jefferson Ave. Follow Jefferson four lights to Beaubien. Left on Beaubien and go two blocks to Congress. Left on Congress. St Andrews is immediately on the right.
  
  From the south:
  From I-75, head north into Detroit. Follow signs for the Lodge Freeway South/Highway. Lodge becomes Jefferson Ave. Follow Jefferson four lights to Beaubien. Left at Beaubien and go two blocks to Congress. Left on Congress. St. Andrews Hall is immediately on right.
  
  From the east:
  From I-94, head west into Detroit. Take I-75 South about one mile. I-75 turns into I-375. Take I-375 to the Jefferson East Exit. Take the first right onto Congress. St. Andrews Hall is three blocks down on the right hand side.
  
  From I-696:
  Head west to I-75 or east to I-94 and follow directions.
  
  From the west:
  From I-94, head east to the Lodge South. Follow signs for Lodge South into downtown. Lodge becomes Jefferson Ave. Follow Jefferson four lights to Beaubien. Left on Beaubien and go two blocks to Congress. Left on Congress. St Andrews is immediately on the right.
  
  From I-96:
  Head East into Detroit. Take the Lodge Freeway south. Lodge becomes Jefferson Ave. Follow Jefferson four lights to Beaubien. Left onto Beaubien and go two lights to Congress. Left onto Congress. St. Andrews is immediately on the right.
• The Detroit People Mover circles downtown Detroit with stops at Cobo Hall, Joe Louis Arena, The Renaissance Center, Broadway (near the Detroit Opera House, Ford Field and Gem Theater), Grand Circus Park (near the Fillmore and Fox Theaters), and Greektown (directly behind St. Andrews Hall).
• Privately owned parking lots surround the venue. The weekend rate is $10.00, unless specified otherwise. The Greektown Casino has a free parking garage located at St. Antoine and Monroe streets, directly off I-375 at the East Lafeyette Exit and three blocks from St. Andrews Hall.

• Children are permitted for All Ages events.
• There is no dress code unless otherwise posted.
• Guests are subject to bag searches and various levels of screening subject to artist or management discretion.
• Cameras and audio and video recording policies are determined by the band and are posted the day of the event. You may obtain information regarding a particular event by phone in advance.
• Items not allowed in this venue include: outside food or beverages, weapons, drugs, spike belts, chain wallets, pens, and pencils. Medications must be approved by staff and must have matching photo indemnification.
• There will be no re-entry once you have been admitted to this venue.
• Smoking is allowed in this venue.
• The St. Andrews Hall does not have ramps for wheelchairs, but does accommodate them throughout the venue. Please phone (313) 961-8137 in advance to make arrangements.
• An ATM is available in our lobby.
• We sell over 40 types of beer. We have a full liquor selection, and offer wine and champagne. We have many non-alcoholic beverages including energy drinks, pop, bottled water, flavored waters, and juice.
• If you are in need of first aid, please contact a staff member and they will provide you with any assistance you need.
• Merchandise is available along the house right wall in St. Andrews Hall and at the rear of the venue in the Shelter.
• Handicap access varies between parking lots, but all are located on the ground level with lowered curbs. Nearby parking structures have handicap access.
• There are several restaurants within walking distance to the venue. The Greektown area offers a variety of American and ethnic cuisine. There are local bars (The Detroiter, Sweetwater) and German pubs (Jacobys) with excellent food. Fishbones in Greektown offers Cajun dishes and Sushi, both outstanding.
• Restrooms are located throughout the venue
