Here’s to 50 years and counting..... This year marks an amazing milestone in the history of the Mountain Winery. In 1958, “Music At The Vineyard” made its debut as a small series of classical concerts held in front of the winery’s historic facade. In the 50 years following, some of the world’s most revered and renowned musicians including Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder and Van Morrison have entertained thousands of fans on that very same stage. While we may not remember the number of champagne bottles opened since 1958, we’ll never forget the support the Mountain Winery has received from the local concert community. As you visit the winery this season, you’ll notice that we’ve made some amazing renovations, all designed to make your concert experience even better. Just as Rome was not built in a day, some of these renovations will take time. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we embark on the next 50 years of Mountain Winery history. |
