Accessibility

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the State, Orpheum and Pantages Theatres are dedicated to providing persons with disabilities the necessary measures to allow for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Information regarding particular needs of individual patrons is important to us; please contact the Box Office directly at accessible@orpheum.com or by calling 612-339-7007 with any questions or concerns regarding your individual needs.

All three theatres offer accessible seating in various areas depending on ticket prices. Tickets for these sections are not available for the general public but will be released for general sale when no two adjacent seats are available in the given price level. Seating is provided on a flat, level area that has padded armchairs that may be removed when access by a wheelchair is required. Each guest who requires accessible seating may purchase an additional adjacent seat for a companion; additional party members will be seated nearby or in other seating, special consideration will be given to families for children"s productions. Please be sure to request accessible areas at the time of your ticket purchase. Accessible seating is available for purchase at the Box Office in person, over the phone through Ticketmaster, via the web at www.ticketmaster.com or through accessible@orpheum.com.

The Orpheum and Pantages offer wheelchair accessible main floor, loge and balcony seating areas that may be accessed by elevator. The State Theatre does not have an elevator for access to loge and balcony sections, all wheelchair accessible areas are located on the main floor. If the guest is able to transfer from their wheelchair to fixed seats, keep in mind that the wheelchair will then be taken to the outer lobby to comply with local Fire Code regulations. At the end of the performance an usher will return the wheelchair to the guest. We do not recommend transferring to fixed seats unless absolutely necessary due to possible emergency evacuation.

If a guest does not utilize a wheelchair, but needs assistance walking from the lobby to their seat, please call the Box Office in advance or e-mail accessible@orpheum.com to arrange for the use of our house wheelchair. Please understand that our staff is unable to physically assist guests.

There are also a limited number of armless chairs available for larger guests in the accessible areas, please contact an usher to transfer to an armless chair if required.


Kid Policies/Family Zone Info

Children under the age of six are encouraged to attend the theatres only for special children"s events. Everyone entering the theatre must have a ticket.

For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, children who are disruptive to other guests will be asked to leave the seating area. Infants will not be allowed admission to Broadway performances.

Box Office Hours

The State Theatre is the primary box office.
The State Theatre Box Office Hours are:
Monday-Friday: 10 A.M. to 6 P.M.
Saturday: Noon to 3 P.M.
Sunday: Closed
The Box Office is also open through intermission while a show is running.

The Orpheum and Pantages Theatre Box Offices are each open at 5 P.M. days of show ONLY and two hours prior to showtime for matinee performances.

Forms of acceptable payment

Methods of payment accepted at the Box Offices are Cash, Personal Checks*, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

*Personal Checks will not be accepted on the day of show or the Friday before a weekend show. The personal check number must be over 1500 in sequence and a valid ID is required.  No third party or business checks are accepted.

Group Tickets

The Group Sales Hotline is at 612.373.5665. Hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm. Email is groupsales@orpheum.com . A 20 percent deposit is required on most performances to hold your order until the final payment date. This deposit is generally due within two to three weeks of placing the order. Payment can be made with one check or one major credit card. The deposit is fully refundable if the order is canceled on or before the final payment due date on the invoice. Your final payment is due approximately 30 days prior to your performance date. This time-frame may vary depending on the performance; the final payment date will be noted on your invoice. At the time of the final payment the number of tickets needed may be adjusted as long as this number does not drop below the group sales minimum for the performance. Payment can be made with one check or one major credit card.

Will-Call Tickets

Will Call tickets are available 90 minutes prior to the performance time at the box office where the show is performing. Please present your picture ID and have your credit card and confirmation number readily available.
