Accessibility Info
202-783-4000 X210 or admin@ warnertheatre.com
The entrance to the Box Office and the Theatre is on 13th Street, between E and F Streets and is accessed by a slight ramp or 2-3 steps. Accessible street curbs are at the corners of both E and F Streets. There are no steps or large inclines once inside the Theatre to the orchestra level. There is no elevator or escalator.
Seating for Persons with Mobility Impairments:
Seating is available in the center rear orchestra. Tickets are priced proportionately based on all price levels for each performance. The seating area is made up of movable cushioned chairs with armrests. Tickets for this section are not available to the general public initially, but will be released to the general public when no two adjacent seats are available in the given price level. This section is general admission and seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis. The Theatre does not oversell this section. These tickets are available only through the Box Office.
Sign-Interpreted Services :
The Theatre can arrange for sign-interpreted performances upon request. Patrons should contact the Box Office no later than ten days prior to the performance so that proper arrangements may be made. Sign interpretation of the designated performance will be arranged in all instances in which a request for a signed performance and a purchase of a ticket(s) for that performance results. For certain engagements, a signed performance will be designated in advance. If a request for an interpreted performance is received less than ten days prior to the performance, the Theatre shall make reasonable efforts to provide interpreter service. The quality of the interpretation depends on adequate preparation time, so earlier notice is encouraged. Interpretation shall be provided with no additional cost to the customer requesting the service. Seats are held in the front side orchestra for patrons wishing to purchase seats close to interpreter. These tickets are available only through the Box Office and will be released for sale to the general public ten days prior to the performance or when no two adjacent seats are available for public sale.
Assistive Listening Devices :
Listening devices for the hearing impaired are available for all performances to assist with amplification and clarity. A radio-transmitted receiver is built into the lightweight headset that amplifies the sound on stage for those with low to moderate hearing loss who may or may not use a hearing aid. This device can be used in all sections of the Theatre. Use of a listening device is complimentary. A driver"s license, passport, or major credit card is required as deposit. The devices are available by contacting an usher upon entering the Theatre.
Children Policies/Family Zone
Everyone, including children and lap-held infants, must have a ticket for entry. Unless noted, most performances are for adult audiences.
In consideration of other patrons we ask that no children under the age of 5 be brought to the theatre, except for child-appropriate performances.
