Parking Info
If you arrive early, you may find a street parking spot along 5th Street, Sycamore St. or Broadway.
Otherwise, there is event parking in the garage in the Chiquita building. This is located on Sycamore St. between 6th and 5th Streets.
Or you can park in the Chemed/PNC Center garage located on Main between 4th and 5th Streets. Rates are as follows: $10 for an event day with a Bengals game, $8 for an event day with a Reds game, $5 for a day with just a Taft event.
Or you can park in the Sycamore garage which is on Sycamore between 4th and 5rd streets.
There is also a lot on the corner of 5th and Broadway.
Accessibility Info
Yes, we do have handicapped seating. However, only one person can SIT with the handicapped individual in the handicapped seating area. Any others must purchase tickets in another section.
The handicapped seating is located on the floor. There is no elevator to the balcony. If you are unable to walk up two flights of stairs, please purchase your tickets on the floor.
There is also a handicapped restroom located in our office.
Child Ticket Policy
Once your child has reached his or her 1st birthday, yes, you do need to buy your child a ticket.
Air Conditioning
The Taft Theatre does not have air conditioning. It can get warm in the theatre during the late spring and early fall. So make sure to dress in clothing that will keep you cool, but please remember it is still a theatre.
