Venue Details
- The Comcast Theatre is an outdoor/indoor amphitheater located in Hartford, Connecticut. The venue, constructed in 1995, is situated on over 20 acres in Hartford’s North Meadows. With a capacity of approximately 25,000, the Comcast Theatrer is one of the largest amphitheaters in the country. The amphitheater is one of only two venues in the country that features a rolling door which can be closed during the winter months allowing year round performances. According to the Hartford Advocate’s Best of Connecticut Survey, the venue was chosen four years in a row as the best venue to see a live concert. The amphitheater’s park-like atmosphere is enhanced by attractive landscaping and tree-lined plaza area where patrons can relax and enjoy a wide variety of concessions. Located adjacent to downtown Hartford, The Comcast Theatre is convenient to all of Hartford’s downtown entertaining and dining experiences.

- The venue has four ATMs. One ATM is located by the permanent outdoor restrooms. Two ATMs are located in the lobby to the left of the main lobby entrance. One ATM is located at the concession stand in the upper plaza near the lawn.
- We feature a variety of selections including hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, Barb's Pizza, wraps, Caesar salad, and fresh fruit. We also have the regular favorites like fried dough, nachos, popcorn, candy, and Boardwalk fries. There is a wide variety of wine and beer available for purchase. At this time, concession stands are cash only.
- Per state law, open alcoholic beverages are not permitted in our parking lots. This law may be enforced by Hartford Police.
- Proper attire is required upon entering the facility. All guests must wear pants, shirts and shoes.
- From the North: Take I-91 South to Exit 33 (Jennings Road) and turn right off the exit. At the first light, turn left onto Weston Street. Free parking can be found at the Connecticut Expo Center and New Road just behind the Connecticut Expo Center. Additional free parking is located on the left after you pass over R.A. Moody Overpass in the Tilcon parking lot. Premier, VIP and Handicap Parking is located adjacent to the venue - please follow the signs for these lots.
From New Haven, Fairfield County & NYC Area: Take I-95 North or the Merritt Parkway North to I-91 North (begins in New Haven). Take Exit 32B (Trumbull Street) off I-91. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Market Street. Free parking lots are located immediately on the right in the Tilcon Parking lot. Additional free parking can be found at the Connecticut Expo Center and New Road just behind the Connecticut Expo Center. Premier, VIP and Handicap Parking is located adjacent to the venue - please follow the signs for these lots.
From Worcester, Boston: Take I-90 to I-84 West to exit 50 (Main Street). Turn right onto Market Street. Free parking lots are located immediately on the right in the Tilcon Parking lot. Additional free parking can be found at the Connecticut Expo Center and New Road just behind the Connecticut Expo Center. Premier, VIP and Handicap Parking is located adjacent to the venue - please follow the signs for these lots.
From Waterbury, Danbury: Take I-84 East to exit 50 (Main Street) and continue straight through series of traffic lights. Turn left onto Market Street. Free parking lots are located immediately on the right in the Tilcon Parking lot. Additional free parking can be found at the Connecticut Expo Center and New Road just behind the Connecticut Expo Center. Premier, VIP and Handicap Parking is located adjacent to the venue - please follow the signs for these lots. - Guests picking up tickets at Will Call may do so in advance of the show day at the Chevrolet Theatre Box Office located at 95 South Turnpike Road in Wallingford, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. On the day of show, tickets must be claimed at the The Comcast Theatre Office. A picture ID is required and purchasers should also bring the credit card used to make the purchase. The box office will release tickets to the person whose name is on the account only. We will not allow patrons to leave tickets at Will Call. Fan club, VIP and Artist tickets may require day of show pick up only. Please check at time of purchase.
- Items not allowed in this venue include, but are not limited to: animals (with the exception of licensed service animals), illegal merchandise, stickers, signs, banners, open fires, fireworks, weapons of any kind, pliers, tools, laser pointers, professional cameras, video recorders, audio recorders, digital recorders, wallet chains, frisbees, beach balls, and alcoholic beverages. - Smoking is allowed in the plaza and on the lawn. Smoking is not allowed in any buildings or in the family zone on the lawn.

- Box office is open on event days only. For festivals and performances taking place in the morning and afternoon, the Box Office will open at 9 a.m. For performances taking place in the evening, the Box Office will open at 2 p.m.
Tickets for Comcast Theatre events may also be purchased in person at the Chevrolet Theatre box office located at 95 South Turnpike Road in Wallingford. Regular box office hours for the Chevrolet Theatre are Monday through Friday, 10am – 6pm.

- Generally, re-entry to the venue after exiting is not permitted. For special circumstances, please see a Guest Services representative.
- Photography inside the venue is prohibited. Please note that some artists do allow the use of small cameras. Guests wishing to bring cameras are encouraged to call the venue on show day to check the policy: (860) 548-7370. No video cameras are allowed.
- For most performances, babies in arms (infants up to two years of age) may enter free of charge. All other children must have a ticket.
- No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the venue. Photo identification is required to purchase alcoholic beverages. Guests will be ejected and/or arrested if found providing alcoholic beverages to minors or guests without photo ID.
- The Comcast Theatre is fully ADA accessible. Wheelchair seating is available in the reserved seating area as well as on the lawn. Gates A and C are the special needs entrances. Gate A is located to the right of our main entrance and Gate C is located to the left of our main entrance.
- Guests are subject to bag searches and various levels of screening subject to artist or management discretion.
- Items usually allowed in this venue include: backpacks, one factory-sealed non-alcoholic beverage (must be in a plastic bottle, no larger than 1 liter), snack food in a clear plastic bag (no larger than 1 gallon in size), disposable cameras, blankets, non-pointed umbrellas, and low rise lawn chairs. - Permanent restrooms are located to the right of the main entrance and in the Lobby. Portable restrooms are located on each side of the lawn.
