Venue Details

• Smoking is prohibited in the seating area. Smoking is permitted in the plazas surrounding the seating area.
• Guests are required to show a proper identification to receive a wristband outside the venue. Wristbands will not be accessible inside the venue.
• First aid is located just to the East of the main ticket gates. If you need any assistance locating the nearest first aid station, or require immediate medical attention, ask any member of the staff throughout the venue.
• Disabled parking is available in the Adler Planetarium lot located off of Lynn White Drive. Vehicles must prominently display the proper tags. There are multiple accessible seating areas throughout the venue - if you weren't able to obtain an accessible ticket at your time of purchase, please notify staff upon entry into the gates and we'll be sure to accommodate you. There is one accessible restroom located next the the Administration office, just inside the main gates. Two other units are located on the south end of the property near the restroom trailers.
• Security is located throughout all areas of the venue including the parking lots. If you require assistance, please notify any of the staff members and they will be able to get in touch with the Security Staff.
• Will Call tickets can be picked up at the Box Office, located just to the left of the main gates. You must present photo identification, confirmation number, and the credit card the tickets were purchased with.

• The Box Office is open only during an on sale and on show days. Show day hours are from 12 p.m. - 9 p.m.
• Five restrooms are located in the North plaza, inside the main gates. Three additional facilities are located in the South plaza.
• Parking fees are included in the price of the ticket. VIP parking may be available for an additional $30.00.
• While there is no specific dress code requirement, we do require our guests to be fully dressed, including shoes.
• Merchandise stands are generally located directly inside the main ticket gates. On select shows, a secondary stand may be found in the south plaza.
• The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) offers direct bus service that connects to Charter One Pavilion. The bus service routes to Metro stations and all CTA train lines. For more information on CTA train lines visit http://ctabustracker.com/bustime/map/displaymap.jsp or call the Regional Transportation Authority at (312) 836-7000 for convenient stations near Charter One Pavilion. Taxicabs are also an effective way to reach Charter One Pavilion. After a show, taxi cabs are lined up near the Adler Planetarium for pickups.
• Items allowed in this venue include: extra clothing, blankets, food n small soft-sided coolers, small picnic baskets, or zip lock bags, factory sealed plastic bottle of water (one per person, max. one liter) small backpacks, non-professional and disposable cameras. Note: These guidelines are subject to change.
• Disposable or digital cameras without a flash are allowed when approved by the artist. For shows where cameras are prohibited, guests will be asked to return them to their car. Subject to artist approval and varies by event. Please call on the show day for more information.
• Two ATMs are located to your left, inside the main gates.
• The main concession stand, located on the North end of the venue, offers Buona's Italian beef sandwiches, Connie's Pizza, burger, fries and more. Smaller food and beverage carts are located throughout the facility.
• Acceptable forms of payment include: American Express, Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover, and cash. Note: If paying by credit card, you must be the cardholder and present a matching state-issued photo ID. Box Office Service Charge: Service charge at the box office is $6.00 per ticket for ticket purchases in advance and on the day of the show. **Service charges are subject to vary by show.”

• From the South:
  I-55 to the Stevenson Expressway, Northbound to Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41 North. Take Lake Shore Drive north to the 18th Street exit. Follow signs to Adler Planetarium and Burnham Harbor.
  
  From the West:
  I-290 to the Eisenhower Expressway, east to Congress Parkway. Congress Parkway to Columbus Drive. Turn right and take Columbus Drive south to the 18th Street Exit. Follow signs to Adler Planetarium and Burnham Harbor.
  
  From the North/Northwest:
  I-90/94 E, exit Lake Shore Drive North / 22nd Street Exit. Stay to the right and exit to Lake Shore Drive. Take Lake Shore Drive/Highway 41 north to the 18th Street Exit. Follow signs to Adler Planetarium and Burnham Harbor.
• Tailgating is not allowed in any parking lot or parking facility around the venue.
• For most performances, babies in arms (infants up to two years of age) may enter free of charge. All other children must have a ticket.
• Guests are subject to bag searches and various levels of screening subject to artist or management discretion.
• Items not allowed in this venue include: lawn chairs, laser pointers, fireworks, sparklers, aerosol spray, Frisbees, footballs, baseballs, baseball mitts, wallet chains, spiked jewelry, knives, weapons, pepper spray, signs larger than 12'x12', camelbacks, cans, glass bottles and any beverage other than water.
• Special needs seating is available for guests with disabilities and up to one companion at all price levels. We recommend that you purchase your tickets as early as possible. All ticket purchases are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 48 hours after a show has sold out, unsold accessible seats will be released for general public purchase. Special needs patrons may call the administration line at (312) 540-2668 on the day of show for any additional information. Ticket fraud includes, but is not limited to, misrepresentation of a disability and/or the production and use of counterfeit or stolen tickets to AVMT events.
