- In its first incarnation, Bank of America Pavilion was known as Harborlights and was located on Fan Pier between Anthonys Pier 4 and the Moakley Federal Courthouse. Developed by Don Law Company and opened in 1994, Harborlights operated in that location until 1998 when circumstances required a re-location of the venue. In 1999, the venue re-opened as BankBoston Pavilion at its current Wharf 8 location. We have presented between 40-55 shows every summer and have drawn over 1 million guests to the Boston waterfront to enjoy their favorite entertainers since 1994. Bank of America Pavilion accommodates approximately 5,000 guests at full capacity and is now owned and operated by Live Nation, our publicly-traded parent company. In addition to Bank of America Pavilion, Live Nation also owns and/or operates the Tweeter Center in Mansfield, Massachusetts, the Opera House, and the Orpheum Theater in Boston.
