ACCESSIBILITY
The Louisville Palace Theatre is a historic property and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Every effort has been made to accommodate patrons with special needs while preserving the unique character of the building. Please let us know what we can do to best accommodate your individual needs.
Accessible locations for patrons with wheelchairs or mobility impairment are available on the orchestra level. Along with advance notice, we recommend that patrons using wheelchairs be accompanied by a companion to provide assistance. Seating for an accompanying patron is available next to a wheelchair space. Additional guests in your party will be seated as near the designated wheelchair location as possible. Please call 502.583.4555 for availability and additional information.
Assisted Listening Devices are available at no charge. Please check with the Guest Services desk located in the theatre’s outer lobby or call 502.583.4555 for additional information.
Signed Performances
Currently, one performance of each Broadway in Louisville presentation is interpreted in American Sign Language. For further information on seating and reservations for these signed performances, please contact the Broadway in Louisville Box Office at 502.562.1003. For all other live performances, please contact the Louisville Palace Box Office for availability and additional information.
Accessible rest rooms are located near the elevator in the theatre’s lower lobby.
Handicap Parking is available in the Fifth Street Parking Garage. Patrons may also be dropped off directly in front of the theatre.
CHILDREN
As a courtesy to other patrons, children must be able to sit quietly throughout the performance. In order to properly enforce fire code regulations, all patrons attending an event, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
SEATING
The Theatre is open for seating approximately one hour prior to show time for most performances. Latecomers will be seated only at appropriate intervals, as established by each performing artist and artist management. Should you arrive late, you may be required to wait in the theatre lobby and seated intermittently during the performance as deemed appropriate by management. For your safety, please remain seated after the performance until the house lights are brought up.
SMOKING
The Louisville Palace Theatre is a non-smoking venue.
Things That Go Beep in the Night
To avoid performance interruptions and as a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, recording devices, cameras, cellular phones, and pagers are restricted from the Theatre. Please check these items at the Guest Services desk in the Outer lobby as necessary.
