What to Bring / What Not to Bring
We want you to bring everything you need to make your visit to
Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater the best. The items listed
below may vary from show to show, but this listing can be useful as
general guidelines. If a certain item (listed or unlisted) is essential to your
concert enjoyment, please call our administrative offices on the show day
for specific information on the show you plan to attend. Our list of items to
bring or not bring are designed to be fair to everyone and meet a combination
of safety goals including providing smooth access into the venue when we
have large crowds. Our goal as your host is to provide an atmosphere
that allows for the maximum enjoyment of the entire audience and we
apologize in advance if some restrictions may cause you any inconvenience.
What to bring:
-Blankets
-Binocluars
-Seat Cushions
-Ponchos or Rain Jackets
-Umbrellas (small please)
-Water: One sealed bottle of water allowed per patron.
Please limit to approx. 12 ounce bottles.
-Foods is allowed through the gates as long as it is packaged in a clear
one gallon plastic bag. (please no coolers or picnic baskets).
-Strollers. Please notes that strollers are welcome through the gates and
on the lawn but cannot be taken into the reserved seating area. Fans may
check them at the Guest Service Booths located in both plazas.
-Sunscreen
-With safety as a primary goal, you may be subject to search at certain
events. If for any reason you should arrive at the gates with a restricted item,
our front gate guest services staff will offer to check most items to save you
from returning to your car. The Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater
reserves the right to refuse admission. Certain shows may occasionally restrict
umbrellas and blankets.
What not to bring:
-Alcohol
-Bottles
-*Cameras (*some performers do allow disposable cameras. Please call
our Administration offices at 757-368-3000 on the day of show to check the
policy for that show)
-Coolers
-Illegal Drugs
-Laser Pointers
-Lawn chairs with seats higher than nine (9) inches off of the ground.
-Pets (except service animals)
-Recorders (audio or video)
-Weapons
