George Lopez is one of the premier comedic talents in the entertainment industry today. He is the co-creator, writer, producer and star of the ABC network and Warner Bros. Television produced sitcom, “George Lopez.” The show is executive produced by Bruce Helford (“The Drew Carey Show,” “Roseanne”) and movie star Sandra Bullock. The show is in its fifth season, Wednesdays at 8:00pm. Lopez’s current CD “Team Leader” was released on Oglio Records/Warner Bros. to great public acclaim. The CD was nominated for a 2004 Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album. His previous best-selling CD “Right Now Right Now” was released in 2001. In May 2004, George’s autobiography “Why You Crying?” was released on the Touchstone/Fireside division of Simon & Schuster and entered in the New York Times Bestsellers top twenty. The book is co-written by Emmy Award winning writer and sportscaster Armen Keteyian. George was a cast member and commentator for HBO’s hit sports show “Inside the NFL” for the 2003-2004 football season. He is a two-time host of the Latin Grammy Awards and a co-host of the Emmy Awards. He starred in the ABC-TV / Wonderful World of Disney Christmas movie “Naughty or Nice.” George also stars in the 2005 Robert Rodriguez, Miramax/Dimension feature film “The Adventures of Shark Boy & Lava Girl." Maintaining an extremely active schedule as a stand-up comedian, George is a sell-out attraction coast to coast. Lopez’s live comedy concert “Why You Crying?” debuted on Showtime, Memorial Day weekend 2004. The DVD of the concert special was released by Paramount Home Entertainment in September 2005. In September 2004, George was honored with the “Spirit of Liberty Award” presented by People for the American Way. In August 2005, Time Magazine recognized George as one of “The 25 Most Influential Hispanics In America.”

Accessible street curbs are at the corners of both E and F Streets. There are no steps or large inclines once inside the Theatre to the orchestra level. There is no elevator or escalator.

Seating for Persons with Mobility Impairments:
Seating is available in the center rear orchestra. Tickets are priced proportionately based on all price levels for each performance. The seating area is made up of movable cushioned chairs with armrests. Tickets for this section are not available to the general public initially, but will be released to the general public when no two adjacent seats are available in the given price level. This section is general admission and seating is based on a first-come, first-served basis. The Theatre does not oversell this section. These tickets are available only through the Box Office.

Sign-Interpreted Services :
The Theatre can arrange for sign-interpreted performances upon request. Patrons should contact the Box Office no later than ten days prior to the performance so that proper arrangements may be made. Sign interpretation of the designated performance will be arranged in all instances in which a request for a signed performance and a purchase of a ticket(s) for that performance results. For certain engagements, a signed performance will be designated in advance. If a request for an interpreted performance is received less than ten days prior to the performance, the Theatre shall make reasonable efforts to provide interpreter service. The quality of the interpretation depends on adequate preparation time, so earlier notice is encouraged. Interpretation shall be provided with no additional cost to the customer requesting the service. Seats are held in the front side orchestra for patrons wishing to purchase seats close to interpreter. These tickets are available only through the Box Office and will be released for sale to the general public ten days prior to the performance or when no two adjacent seats are available for public sale.

Listening devices for the hearing impaired are available for all performances to assist with amplification and clarity. This device can be used in all sections of the Theatre. Use of a listening device is complimentary. A driver"s license, passport, or major credit card is required as deposit. The devices are available by contacting an usher upon entering the Theatre.
