Biography

Awarded both Rolling Stone and Blender Magazine's "Album of the Year" for 2007's landmark "Kala," M.I.A. is a British born Sri Lankan rapper whose bevy of beats and idiosyncratic lyrics has made her one of hip-hops most important artists. An amazing live performer, M.I.A. played her top five smash hit "Paper Planes" at the esteemed Bonnaroo Festival.
