Biography

A cult figure known for his sense of humor and engaging stage presence, folk influenced singer/songwriter Loudon Wainwright III burst onto the scene in the Seventies with the top twenty hit "Dead Skunk" and his role as the "singing surgeon" on "MASH." Since then Loudon Wainwright III has received multiple Grammy nominations for his increasingly sophisticated sound, and won fans like filmmaker Judd Apatow who hired him to compose the music for the movie "Knocked Up."
