James Murphy and his band LCD Soundsystem say they were caught off guard by the demand for tickets to the band's farewell performance at New York's Madison Square Garden. In response, they've hatched a plan they hope will give more fans a chance to see them play while deflating the bottom line of scalpers who snapped up tickets for the sold-out April 2 show.
