Churchill Downs is located in South-Central Louisville, approximately three miles from the downtown business district and two miles from Louisville International Airport (Standiford Field). The racetrack is a short drive from any location in the metropolitan area.
Access from expressways
I-264 (Watterson) to Southern Parkway or Taylor Boulevard North exit.
I-65 to the Crittenden Drive exit. Turn Right on Central Ave.
From Downtown
Follow Third Street south. Then right on Central Avenue.

(Lots open at 12:00 p.m. and Gates open at 1:00 pm)

PREPAID PARKING IN LONGFIELD LOT
From Taylor Blvd. turn onto Longfield Avenue and left into GATE 10.


PREPAID PARKING IN LOTS 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9
From Taylor Blvd turn onto Central Avenue and right on 9th Street.
From Crittenden Drive turn onto Central Avenue and left on 9th Street

From Taylor Blvd. turn into Lot 10 near Central Avenue

Satellite parking is available at Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium is located off Crittenden drive on Central Avenue. Parking sold on event day $10.00. From parking lot you have the option of walking 6 blocks or taking the TARC shuttle.


Public Transportation
TARC will offer shuttles service (with air conditioning or heat) from Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium for $10 round trip, drop off and pick up in front of Gate 1.

Box Office Hours

Day of the event, Box Office will open at 11:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.
WILLCALL opens at 11:00 am.

Accessible seating is located at several locations throughout the venue.

Allowed items: Binoculars, non-professional cameras, blankets, covers, Collapsible camping chairs, backpacks(medium sized and non-framed), and up to 2 20oz sealed plastic water bottles per person

Children Rules

Babies in arms (children up to two years of age) may enter free of charge. All other children must have a ticket.

Miscellaneous

No Professional cameras or recording devices, alcohol, contrband, weapons, pets, laser pointers, picnic baskets, tents, flags, or chairs.
