From the North:
Take I-95 South to NW 8th Street. Travel south to NW 5th Street and turn left. Follow the signs to AmericanAirlines Arena.
From the South:
Take I-95 North to NW 2nd Street. Head north to NW 5th Street and make a right. Follow the signs to AmericanAirlines Arena.
From Eastbound on SR 836 (Dolphin Expressway):
Exit at NE 2nd Avenue. Head South to NE 8th St and make a left. Follow the signs to the AmericanAirlines Arena.
From Westbound on MacArthur Causeway (I-395):
Exit at Biscayne Blvd. Go south to NE 8th Street and turn left. Follow the signs to AmericanAirlines Arena.
From Southbound Biscayne Blvd (US1):
Turn left at NE 8th Street and follow the signs to the AmericanAirlines Arena.
From Northbound Biscayne Blvd (US1):
Turn right on Port Boulevard and follow the signs.

**Inbound**
Metrorail to the Government Center station. Transfer to the People Mover, which has a 2-car express service to the Freedom Tower station.
**Outbound**
Take the 2-car express People Mover from the Freedom Tower station to the Government Center and then take the Metrorail.

Children Rules
Ages 0-1 admitted free on ticket holder's lap. If chlid has celebrated their 2nd birthday, they MUST have a ticket to enter.**MIAMI HEAT**
Children under the age of 2 are admitted free of charge. Children under 2 years of age are not guaranteed a seat and may be required to sit on the lap of a ticketed accompanying adult. Children 2 and over must have a valid ticket to attend a Miami HEAT game at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
Miscellaneous
ENTRY & EXIT POLICY FOR MIAMI HEAT:The AmericanAirlines Arena enforces a "No Re-Entry Policy." Guests may not exit the building and return without presenting the Ticket Taker with a valid, unused ticket.
MEET/GET CLOSE TO MIAMI HEAT PLAYERS:
The Miami HEAT has a HOME game promotion known as "Get Close to the HEAT." It allows fans with valid tickets to a HEAT home game to watch their favorite players warm-up prior to the start of the game. "Get Close to the HEAT" takes place from the time doors open to the general public until the end of the 15-minute shoot-around.
MIAMI HEAT GENERAL PUBLIC ENTRY:
In general, the doors open to public (1) hour prior to the printed Tip-Off time. (Example: Doors will open to the general public at 6:30 p.m., for games with a scheduled tip-off of 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise posted.)
BREAK/STOP IN PLAY INFORMATION FOR MIAMI HEAT:
As a courtesy to all our fans, guests seated in the lower bowl will be asked to wait at the top of the seating entrance, until there is a break in play. A break in play is indicated by an official's whistle. When the ball is not in play, the usher will signal to fans that it is the appropriate time for them to continue to their seats.
400GA TICKETS FOR THE MIAMI HEAT:
400GA tickets refer to the "General Admission" and Standing Room Only (SRO) platforms located on the 400 level. Guests with a 400 GA ticket gain entrance into the AmericanAirlines and are directed to either the East SRO platform (accessible via Sections 411-414; 417-420) if ticket is printed with an "E"or the West SRO platform (accessible via Sections 401-404; 407-410) if ticket is printed with a "W". The Standing platforms are located at the final row of the 400 (or balcony) level.
